The Position

The role aims to develop a shared services function to ensure cost-effective and efficient support across HR, Finance, ICT and Supply Chain for program delivery. Being part of the Senior Management Team, the role reports to the Country Director in Vanuatu with technical leadership provided by Finance Business Partner, International Programs (Melbourne based).

Essential Selection Criteria

► Senior management experience gained within a finance and / or HR environment within international development.

► Experience in leading a shared service function including ICT, finance and procurement.

► Proven team leadership showing the development of staff and team capabilities.

► Experience in developing, implementing and managing change of financial systems and internal control procedures.

► Strong analytical skills especially in analysing complex financial data to produce effective insights. Understanding of award management processes across multiple donors.

Desirable Selection Criteria ► Primarily driven by providing valuable information to management to assist and support their decision-making process.

► With a toolkit of various skills and experience, you are comfortable 'rolling up your sleeves' and applying your skills to get the work done, You have humor, patience resilience and passion for instilling a learning and training agenda is what sets you apart as a good people manager.

► You enjoy working autonomously across both finance and support services teams as your bridge the gap to create cohesion and collaboration.
